Our first trip to the ER...

So I left to go to a dinner at my church and Jake was babysitting, so this was all his fault.. LOL! ;) Carter likes to climb on things, most boys do and although we warn him constantly and beg him to stay away from the fireplace he does not listen, or learn.. He was standing on the fireplace and Jake told him he needed to get down so what does he do?!!? He decides to jump! And not just jump, twist and jump which turned into a 360* turn and a fall on his head. OUCH! Jake grabbed him and he was bleeding so much he packed the kids up and came and got me and we headed to the ER. Carter was very tough!

We waited forever and when we finally got into the room the Nurse came in to talk with Carter, she asked him what his name was and he goes, (very matter-of-factly) "Super dog" Then he started rambling on about how "Mom is going to throw Whitney in the garbage and I am going to not let her throw my sister away.." Seriously, he is so funny! The Super dog thing, where did that come from, and the garbage?!!! What an imagination he has!

When the Doctor finally came in he had a couple guys with him to help restain him. Carter did not like that and cried and whined at first, then when they put the needle in to numb his head he got mad and just kept grunting at everyone. Once the Doctor started to do the stitches he was out cold, started snoring and everything.. Now that we are finally home he is down with Jake eating Ice Cream. Hopefully he doesn't play near the fireplace anymore, but we shall see.
