Tristan's Baby Blessing

Jake gave Tristan a name and a blessing today and it was so wonderful! Tristan Jacob Wendling, of course is the name he was given, and Jake blessed him with a sweet spirit, the blessing to discern right from wrong, courage, and knowledge and understanding. That's about all I can remember, actually the only reason I remember is because Jake's sweet Grandma Kathy wrote some of it down for us. We had a brunch directly following the blessing. Jake's aunt Colleen and uncle Mike brought some yummy breakfast casseroles and grapes covered with a yummy yogurt sauce. My sweet neighbors, the Mears, brought another yummy casserole, my Grandma Olsen brought some delicious cinnamon rolls, and Grandma Kathy brought fruit. My great friends, the Petersen's came, Matt, his wife, Stephenie, and Becky. As much of our families that could come came. It was a great day, full of love and blessings. ;)
